Logline: Kidnapped by the US government because alien technology gave her (and dozens of other random civilians) superpowers, a kind but career-obsessed scientist must balance her urge to study this new reality against her guilt of not wanting to escape for the sake her family, and take down a telepath with her own selfish goals.

The sequel, which will almost certainly never exist, will be called Menace 10 Society. Makes a lot more sense after one reads the mid-credits scene.
